I feel like his work would be better suited to Medieval Total War instead if I'm honest. It does look incredible, but it doesn't look like Warhammer to me. I go back and forth so much on Apollo's mod. I really like the mod that adds new units to the Crusader states, Darok's Bretonnia Crusaders, they're not technically in the lore but the units seems like they would be if GW ever gave them any thought. I use pretty much every single mod that rob uses here. Reikland without the reds, puffy hats and sallet helms just seems wrong. I love his work, even the new Middenland he did, but the only one of his I don't use is his Reikland reskin. I want Warhammer, there's already historical real world games. It looks pretty, but I'm not sure I'll keep it if he continues much further down the non-lore path. It's pretty cool but it feels a little like a "realism reskin" with a lot of blending of European history into the Empire. I've also been checking out Lt Apollo's regional recruitment/reskin mod. Rise of The Beastmen (probably the biggest I have in terms of editing the vanilla experience - makes more Beastmen spawns meaning they actually affect the world a bit) Level 50 Lords (I don't like 2x/3x etc points per level, but I play long campaigns so I like my Lords to have a higher ceiling) Mixu adds them for Mousillon which is cool because of the mutants but I think it ruins the main vamp faction a little) Willemsons Knights of the Counts (note, I don't like his Counts expanded because it adds ranged units for all Vampire factions which I don't like. Immortal Ancestors (seems silly that ghosts can "die")Įxpanded Roster - Orcs/Goblins (there's 2 packs one for gobbos and one for orcs)

Marienburg unit expancion pack (it's spelled wrong in the mod name) So I use:Ĭrynsos campaign unlocker - adds tons of replayability because you get different start positions. To that end, I pretty much only use unit mods/graphical tweaks that are either loreful, or as close to loreful that it doesn't matter much. That instantly puts Radious and SFO out of the picture, they're not lawful and generally make the game boring as hell for me, especially Radious which makes every army in the game play the same which removes everything that makes Warhammer different from the historical Total Wars with different coloured generic armies. I generally try and make this as loreful as possible as well as not really changing game mechanics if I can help it.
